This DVD celebrates Chris Barber's 50th anniversary as a professional musician. Recorded at Germany's Hot Jazz Festival 2002, he presents his eleven-piece Big Chris Barber Band.

He only had a few hits in the 1950s and early '60s, but as Bo Diddley sang, "You Can't Judge a Book by Its Cover." You can't judge an artist by his chart success, either, and Diddley produced greater and more influential music than all but a handful of the best early rockers.

The Beach Boys live in concert at Knebworth Park, Hertfordshire on 21st June 1980 was a memorable occasion in more ways than one. Most important of all, it was the last time all six Beach Boys-Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Alan Jardine and Bruce Johnston would appear together, singing and playing, on a UK stage.

Big Country who were one of Britain's most successful international rock acts during the 80's were very popular in Germany where all this material originates. Hit singles and albums many TV and festival appearances they toured consistently there until their end in 2000. This DVD is from 1995. The main concert is from their headline appearance at Das Fest in Karlsruhe. It shows Big Country at their finest.

The Concert was recorded in Tokyo, Japan 1981.I have only attended one Chick Corea Concert some 20 or more years ago, the Electric Band, which he played with at the time, was so loud that it was painful to listen to and I left after the first half.

In 2005, Faithless,(DJ Rollo, Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz) celebrated 10 years together. This DVD features the band performing their hits onstage and in music videos. A-ha (spelled "a-ha" in lower-case on their releases) were a Norwegian pop band formed in Oslo in 1982. The band was founded by Morten Harket (vocals), Magne Furuholmen (keyboard), and Pål Waaktaar (guitars). The group initially rose to fame during the mid 1980s after being discovered by musician and producer John Ratcliff and had continued global success in the 1990s and 2000s.
